Sanket Kapadia and Arsha Alam Shaikh, 19-year-olds who are both visually challenged, and both from humble backgrounds, are carrying out charities, led by just the light of their large hearts and small savings from their meagre pocket money.
While Shaikh is blind since birth, Kapadia began losing his vision at the age of seven months. By the time he was eight, he was completely blind in the other eye as well.
Kapadia and Shaikh, preparing for their final year BA (history) exams at Gujarat College, have no means to earn or collect funds for their small philanthropic activities. Their charity entirely depends on whatever they save from their pocket money, with little support from their families.
