Gujarat : The Sardar Sarovar Dam on the Narmada River, which is the lifeblood of Gujarat, is increasing drastically. 12 gates of Indira Sagar Dam have been opened up to 10 meters and for the first time in the season, 10 gates of Sardar Sarovar at Kevadia were opened up to 1.40 meters at 12 noon.A total of 1,45,000 water from Riverbed Power House was released into the river. The water level of the dam has reached 136.36 meters at 1 pm. Water receipt 9,16,895 cusec Average water receipt in last three hours is 8,11,340 cusec. The total outflow of water into the river is 1,42,166 cusec. An increase of 25 cm in the surface of the dam is being seen in the last one hour.
Moreover, chief Engineer Kanungo and the entire engineering team are continuously monitoring and supervising from the flood control room of Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam.
