Surat : A 30-year-old youth living in Surat’s Kadodara area and working as a diamond worker fell ill after contracting dengue. After which he was shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment, where the young man died today after two days of treatment. The family was in mourning over the death of the youth.

According to information, 30-year-old Raju Pawar was living with his wife, mother and brother and sister-in-law in Harikrishna Society located in Kadodara, Surat. Raju Pawar worked as a diamond worker to help the family financially. He had fever, after which he also took medicine from a nearby hospital, but reported that his health did not improve, in which he was diagnosed with dengue. Relative Raju Patil said, “My brother was sick for the last 5 to 6 days, he was having fever, after which it was revealed that he had dengue after reporting.” So he was brought to the civil hospital for treatment. His health deteriorated last night. The doctor said that he was having hiccups and also gave him medicine. The water in his body was also reduced. My brother had no illness. He used to earn around 60 thousand rupees a month by working in diamond factory.
