Surat : An 80-year-old woman living in Dindoli, Surat has tested positive for swine flu. As the old woman’s report came positive, the system has been in a rush. As the report came positive, a survey was conducted by the Manpa in the houses of the old women’s society. Because, the sixth case of swine flu has come up in Surat this year i.e. in the last four months. An 80-year-old woman developed viral fever in Ayodhyanagar Society in Dindoli, Surat, after which the elderly woman was reported to have tested positive for swine flu. Currently, the woman is undergoing treatment in the civil hospital. On the other hand, in the area where the woman was living, the Surat Municipality Health Department had mobilized the health team.

Surat Municipality Deputy Health Officer Dr. Pradeep Umrigar said, there is no need to panic as there is a medicine for swine flu. The society of the person whose report comes positive, the place where he works and all their places are being checked and tested if necessary. An 80-year-old woman is being treated at the Civil Hospital. About 200 houses around the society where Amrita lived have been surveyed. So far no one has shown symptoms related to swine flu. It is worth mentioning that cases of swine flu are being reported in 2024. There was one case in January, two in February and two in March. While one case of swine flu has been reported in the beginning of April, the sixth case of swine flu was reported in Surat city this year and a survey was also conducted by the Manpa in the area from which the sixth case was reported.
