Gandhinagar: Former Delhi chief minister and AAP leader Atishi met those injured in Thursday’s Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad on Saturday. She also met family members of those who lost their lives in the plane crash and expressed condolences over the tragedy.After meeting the injured and family members of those who lost their lives in the tragedy, the leader of opposition in the Delhi assembly said that the cause of the plane crash is presently under investigation and there must not be any speculation on it until the probe is on.Speaking to reporters, she said, “We are here to express our heartfelt condolences. After the incident, we told our local leaders and party workers to extend all possible assistance to the administration.” Atishi also condoled the death of former chief minister Vijay Rupani, one of the passengers of the ill-fated Air India flight that crashed moments after taking off from the Ahmedabad airport on Thursday.A party statement said that Atishi, who planned a two-day visit to Gujarat to campaign for the upcoming Kadi and Visavadar assembly byelections, cancelled her election campaign.
