Watch: This is the world’s ‘narrowest road’. It even has a traffic signal

Date:

A video of what is unbelievably the narrowest road in the world has gone viral on the social media platform.

What is more surprising is that this road has a traffic signal at the entrance of the road for pedestrians. However, by the size of the road, it looks like it is almost impossible for two people to walk side by side.

The video of the road was shared on Instagram by an account under the name of Rohit Singh and the post’s caption read, “World’s narrowest road.”

In the viral video, a man appears to be standing at the entrance of the road and then the woman can be seen on the other side.

The traffic signal has been installed at the start of the road for the pedestrians to turn on before entering this lane so that no one else comes from the opposite side.

Another video of the same road was posted by Megan Homme on Instagram with the caption, “First stop in Prague.” “The narrowest street in Prague has its traffic light,” read the description of the post.

This road is located in Mala Strana which is the oldest area of Prague and has a length of 32 feet. The road’s width is around 19 inches.

Here’s how netizens reacted to the viral video

The video went viral and received many likes and comments from users.

Reacting to the video, one user said, “Habibi Come to India.”

“For a second I thought, “two people can squeeze past each other” but then you turned the camera to show the street better,” wrote a second user.

“I’m not even claustrophobic but this is kinda freaky,” said a third user.

“I live in NY & this is literally just the main hallway of my building,” wrote a fourth user.

“Immagine being a 250 pounds fat golem that can’t pass there,” commented a fifth user.

“Nope. My claustrophobia would not let me even watch the whole video lol,” said a sixth user.

“You don’t need the light. Just shimmy up the walls and let others pass/squeeze below you? There’s also window ledges to get a foothold too,” wrote another user.

“Imagine the wall closing if you don’t press it,” stated a user.

“But what if someone didn’t obey the traffic light and came towards you and then when you turned back, people had followed behind you,” commented a user on X.
