AHMEDABAD: The minimum temperature climbed down from 14.9 degrees celsius on Thursday to 13.4 degrees celsius on Friday. It was 0.2 degrees below normal, while the maximum temperature, recorded at 28.6 degrees, too was 0.6 degrees lower than normal. According to an India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the minimum temperature is likely to be around 13 degrees on Saturday. The forecast mentioned, ‘No large change in minimum temperatures during the next five days is very likely over the region.’
At 6.4 degrees celsius, Naliya recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state, followed by Rajkot at 9.5 degrees and Bhuj at 10.2 degrees. The maximum temperatures remained in the range of 25 to 29 degrees in the majority of cities and towns.
