A woman landed in LG hospital with a head injury after her neighbour’s relative allegedly attacked her with a knife in Ramol on Tuesday evening. She told police that her son came home around 3pm and said that the neighbours had cut his kite string and started a fight. The neighbour allegedly denied the incident. A heated argument ensued and a relative of the neighbour attacked the woman. By the time police arrived at the scene, the accused man had fled. Police have registered a case of voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt by dangerous weapons, along with other sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. tnn
