Apart from Aadhar card, SOG found PAN card, election card and two mobile phones from him, when he was caught: Corona vaccine was also given.
Surat: The Bangladesh youth, who has been living in a Hindu area barely two km from Rander Police Station in Surat after crossing the Bangladesh border illegally, produced three Aadhaar cards with a Hindu name. Apart from the Aadhaar card, the SOG found a PAN card, an election card and two mobile phones from him.
Further, Sohagbabu Mulla, who works in mineral water supply, made three Aadhar cards including Hindu name on the basis of faking his birth. He also took Corona vaccine. Apart from the three Aadhar cards, SOG found all the documents and seized a total of Rs.40 thousand. A case registered against him at Rander police station and has started an investigation as to whom he had forged Indian identity proofs.
In search of income in Surat, the economic capital of Gujarat, people come from neighboring countries like Bangladesh and Nepal besides various states of the country. However, among them, people from Bangladesh mostly cross the border illegally through agents and come to Surat in West Bengal. SOG used to take action against such illegal immigrants and deport them, but for the past five years, SOG has almost stopped this operation for mysterious reasons.
