The Rajvi families from all over the country were honored with shawls and Sardar Patel’s statue.
Ahmedabad : A program was held to honor over 50 major Rajvi families of the country, including the descendants of Maharana Pratap and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, in Gota area of the city. Rajvi families were honored by Vishva Umiya Foundation. In this program, descendants of Maharana Pratap, royals of Udaipur, royals of Gondal state, royals of Wankaner state were welcomed with drums. The Rajvi families, who arrived from all over the country first offered floral tributes to the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and all the royals also performed Shastrapujan. The royals were honored with a shawl and a statue of Sardar Patel.
The Rajvi Kumar Harpalsinghji Desai of Patdi state also said in a conversation with the media that the Rajvi family is being honored today which is a matter of happiness. No one but Sardar Saheb could have done what was established by collecting all the princely states of the country. He expressed confidence that the museum of royalty will definitely be built at the Statue of Unity. Today people who have surrendered their all are being honored today. Apart from that, Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh, a descendant of Maharana Pratap of Mewar, said in a conversation with the media that it is a matter of honor to have the opportunity to participate in the National Consciousness Conference.
