A multimodal transport hub has been developed at Sabarmati station by the National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) as part of the bullet train project. This multimodal hub connecting railway, metro, BRTS and ST bus stations along with bullet trains is ready, where NHSRCL held a meeting on Wednesday for commercial use.
To added it , 45 officials or representatives from various sectors including retail stores, banks and ATMs, multinational companies, commercial entrepreneurs, hotel chains, educational institutes, advertising agencies, marketing companies, space marketing companies etctera were present online.
The commercial space will be given on lease for 25 to 45 years
The NHSRCL official said that, this multimodal transport hub building is almost ready. This building has two blocks Block-A and Block-B, in which a total of 22,668 square meters in Block-A and 13,599 square meters in Block-B will be made available for commercial use. This space is likely to be given on lease for 25 to 45 years to interested parties.
Along with this, the basement, ground floor, first and second floors of the building have parking space available for 1300 vehicles. While the third floor of the building is common to both Blocks A and B, it has a carpet area of 4,432 square meters for lease which will have facilities like food court, retail store and passenger waiting area.
