On the recommendation of the MLA, the necessary aspects of holding a beach festival at Suvali beach were discussed.
Surat : Amidst the ongoing discussion of the development of Dumas Beach, CCTV cameras will be installed from the city SKNagar to Dumas Beach. A meeting of District Tourism Committee-2023 was held today at District Seva Sadan under the chairmanship of District Collector Ayush Oak. The discussion were held to install CCTV camera to connect the main road from SK nagar to Dumas beach for the purpose of public safety. A detailed classification of the works sought to be done by the Collector in the amount of grant proposed for the development of various places in Mahuva and Mangrol was sought. Also, he gave necessary advice to various departments and directed immediate implementation of the pending proposals.
Moreover, under the guidance of MLA Sandeep Desai, the development works done on the basis of grants allotted so far were reviewed, in which development works including road, toilet and rest house at Suwali Beach and its grant were discussed. On the recommendation of the MLA, the necessary aspects of holding a beach festival at Suvali beach were discussed and the development works of Dabhari and Anaval beach were also discussed. In the meeting District Development Officer B.K. Vasava, Resident Additional Collector YB Jhala along with Road-Makan Department and officials/employees of District Tourism Department and various other branches were present.
