Ahmedabad: The city on Monday experienced cloudy weather due to a cyclonic circulation over north Gujarat and the surrounding areas. The minimum temperature rose to 17 degrees celsius from 12 degrees celsius on Sunday. It was 3.6 degrees above normal. The maximum temperature was also 1.5 degrees above normal at 30.8 degrees celsius.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the minimum temperature on Tuesday is likely to be around 16 degrees celsius. The forecast mentioned, “No large change in minimum temperatures during the next 24 hours. Thereafter, a fall by 2-4 degrees is very likely over the region.”
At 8.6 degrees celsius, Naliya recorded the lowest minimum temperature. Keshod and Bhuj recorded minimum temperatures of 12.9 degrees celsius and 13.8 degrees celsius, respectively.
