3 bikes burnt down; the fire on the ground floor spread to the first floor.
Surat : There was chaos in the Nanpura area of Surat when a fire broke out in a bike showroom in the morning. The fire that broke out in the bike showroom on ground four spread to the first floor. On being informed about the incident, the fleet of the fire department reached the spot and controlled the fire by using water cannon. According to the information received from the fire department, a call was received at 7 am that there was a fire in the bike showroom of Manish Auto in Nanpura area. Following the incident, 6 cars of the fire station reached the spot. A sudden fire broke out on the ground floor. Then the fire spread to the first floor. Firefighters rushed to the spot and first contained the fire and pulled out the new vehicles in the showroom.
However, in the meantime, 3 old bikes were burnt in the fire. After about an hour of effort, the fire department was able to control the fire. Regarding this incident, Fire Officer Balwantsingh said that, the convoy reached as soon as the fire was reported. The fire was brought under control in about an hour. No casualties were reported in this fire incident. However, it is estimated that there was a loss of 5 lakhs in the fire incident.
