Surat : A fire broke out in the Millennium-2 market located in Bhatena area of Surat. A fire broke out in a textile shop on the fourth floor. The fire was so huge that the smoke was visible far and wide. So chaos was created in the surrounding area. 8 to 10 fire brigade vehicles have reached the spot to control the fire.
A fire broke out in a shop named Matarani on the fourth floor of Millennium-2 Market in Bhathena area. According to the preliminary investigation, the fire started due to short circuit spread rapidly in the fabric. So the fire had assumed a distorted form. As it was Diwali, a large number of people were working. However, when the fire was reported, there was a stampede. The officials of the fire brigade said that they immediately reached the spot after receiving the fire call. As the extent of the fire was high, vehicles from different fire stations were called to the spot. Efforts are being made to douse the fire with the help of hydraulics. Currently, no injuries or fatalities have been reported at the initial stage.
