AMC broke the record for the largest bouquet of natural flowers held by Al Ain Municipality, United Arab Emirates.
On Jan 7, a Guinness team recognised AMC’s bouquet 10.24m high and having a diameter 10.84m, as the largest in the world.
The Al Ain Municipality had created a flower arrangement that stood seven metres tall.
The award was accepted by deputy mayor Jatin Patel at an event attended by AMC standing committee chairman Devang Dani and municipal commissioner M Thennarasan.
Last year’s Flower Show too had set a Guinness World Record, for the longest flower wall, measuring 221m. This structure surpassed the previous record of 166.15m.
This year’s Flower Show at the riverfront features over 1 million flowers from more than 50 species, including exotic varieties such as roses, lilies, and orchids. The show is segmented into six thematic zones: Growth and Development, Sustenance and Inclusivity, Sustainable Future, Culture and Heritage and Vision for the Future.
Visitors can engage with the displays through a new QR code system that provides audio guides in multiple languages, enhancing the overall experience.
