The storm ‘Biporjoy’ created in the Arabian Sea is taking a tremendous form. The effect of the storm is being felt in the whole of Gujarat, somewhere it is raining.

Dwarka: Cyclone Biporjoy is 280 km from Jakhou, 290 from Dwarka, 350 from Porbandar and 310 km from Nalia. The storm is currently moving towards Gujarat at a speed of 5 km per hour.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for rain for Kutch, Jamnagar and Devbhoomi Dwarka on June 15 and 16. During the storm, wind speed of 150 kmph is predicted.

Moreover, residents of Dwarka believe that the real Dwarkadhish protects the towns people during natural calamities, storms, etc. Let it be known that, on Monday, two flags were offered together at the temple of Dwarka. It is a popular belief that by offering it with two flags, danger from Dwarka will be averted.

Rains started in Dwarka from Wednesday morning with strong winds due to which the fear of Dwarka residents became high. 15 feet high waves are rising in the sea of Dwarka.

In Dwarka, Union Minister Parshottam Rupala and Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi inspected the work. Citizens in Dwarka are also standing shoulder to shoulder with the system against the possible storm.

In response to the severity of the storm, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has allocated Rs. 8 thousand crore 3 big plans were announced on Tuesday. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel appealed to the people of Gujarat and said that, the state government has made arrangements for disaster management under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to deal with the storm.
