The operation took place at the FSSAI office near Municipal Market. According to ACB officials, a consultant submitted an online application for a food safety licence on behalf of a client in Jan. Mahadevia raised several queries regarding the application.
ACB sleuths said that during a face-to-face meeting, the accused demanded Rs 25,000 to approve the licence without additional queries.
