Police have registered a case against garbage driver and taken legal action.

Surat : In Surat, complaints have been raised that drivers driving door-to-door garbage vehicles are driving at excessive speed. But no concrete action is taken by Surat Municipal Corporation against such drivers. Because of this, a woman and a young man sitting on top of the car fell down on the road when the driver of a door-to-door garbage truck drove at high speed on Bombay Market Puna Road in Varachha area, in which the woman suffered serious injuries on her head and body and died on the spot. While another youth has been shifted to hospital for treatment.

Moreover, the details of the incident are that Chanda, the wife of Gajanan Satpute lives in Ambedkar Nagar, near Anjana Farm in Limbayat area, was approached by Rajesh Kasbe, the driver of Tractor. A police complaint has been lodged against Limbayat, next to the farm, in which he said that on 29/12/2023 in the early morning around 4:30 am, Rajesh left with a door-to-door garbage cart. Laxman Rokde and Bhagyashree sat above Shiva Bhagwan Dhalwale Tempo. Meanwhile, Bhagyashree and Lakshman fell to the ground suddenly on the bump in front of Jalwant Township on Rajesh Bombay Market Puna Road. So both of them got serious injuries. Bhagyashree died tragically on the spot due to severe head injuries. Following the incident, Laxman was rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment. Police have registered a case against Rajesh Kasbe and taken legal action.
