Ahmedabad: The Gujarat govt has declared that staff members who had passed the Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) and CCC+ examinations prior to their initial govt employment will not need to retake these tests when moving to another govt position.
The CCC and CCC+, referred to as ‘Triple C certification’, evaluates computer literacy skills and remains mandatory for govt positions in Class 1, 2, and 3 categories.
Until now, govt employees who had successfully completed the exam were required to sit for them again when selected for different govt roles. Officials indicated that employees had persistently requested recognition of their earlier certifications for new govt positions. The authorities have now approved these requests and eased the requirements, according to official sources.
