Gandhinagar: Chief minister Bhupendra Patel and ministers of the state cabinet are expected to participate in the ongoing Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh next week. Sources close to the development stated, “The CM and his cabinet ministers are likely to participate in the Maha Kumbh either on Feb 3 or Feb 7. Details of the visit are being finalised.”
State govt sources said that the CM will also visit the Gujarat pavilion that has been set up to ensure that pilgrims from the state have a hassle-free experience. Gujarat govt had recently announced a three-night, four-day package costing Rs 8,100 per person for those planning to visit the fair from the state. The event, which began on Jan 13, will continue till Feb 26. The package comprises accommodation and bus travel.
