Gujarat govt allocates Rs 131cr for resurfacing key roads | Ahmedabad News


Gandhinagar: The state govt on Thursday sanctioned Rs 131 crore to resurface five roads that connect or supplement the core network in the state.
A govt statement said that the 22 km stretch of the Pethapur-Nardipur-Kherwa road will be resurfaced at a cost of Rs 27.75 crore. Similarly, the 31 km stretch between Jamnagar-Lalpur-Verad will be resurfaced for Rs 18.02 crore. The Nadiad-Petlad-Khambhat 24 km route will be resurfaced at a cost of Rs 23.45 crore. The 20 km stretch of Chikhli-Dharampur road will be resurfaced at a cost of Rs 19.98 crore, and the Bhuj-Mundra 43-kilometre stretch will be resurfaced at a cost of Rs 42.51 crore.
The Gujarat State Road Development Corporation will carry out these resurfacing works, the statement added.
