Ahmedabad: On the first day of the admission process for medical, dental, ayurvedic, and homeopathy courses in Gujarat, a total of 2,986 PINs were sold, and 2,384 students completed their registration. The admission committee launched the online PIN distribution and registration process on Saturday, which will continue until July 18. In the coming days, document verification and submission of photocopies will begin at designated help centres.As per the information received, the admission committee started the undergraduate admission process for the academic year 2025-26 for medical, dental, ayurvedic, homeopathy, and self-financed ayurvedic and homeopathy institutions under the 15% all-India quota seats. The process began with the sale of online PINs, followed by registration and document upload.According to the schedule declared by the committee, the timeline for purchasing online PINs is from July 5 to July 18. Students can also complete registration and upload their documents during this same period. The verification of applications and document submission at help centres will begin on July 7 and will continue until July 19.On the first day alone, 2,938 PINs were sold for medical, dental, ayurvedic, and homeopathy courses under the state quota, and 2,348 students completed their registration. For the 15% all-India quota in self-financed ayurvedic and homeopathy institutions, 48 PINs were sold, and 36 students registered.Thus, a total of 2,986 PINs were sold, and 2,384 registrations were completed on the very first day. To assist students, the admission committee is providing constant support through telephone and email. Students are also advised to regularly check the official website for updates and accurate information regarding the admission process.
