Ahmedabad: On Saturday, the estate TDO department of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation‘s South West Zone took action to demolish an illegal farmhouse built behind the STP in the Juhapura area of the Maktampura ward. With police presence, a 6,400 square feet illegal construction was removed. The operation targeted residential-type structures. Additionally, over Friday and Saturday, the solid waste management teams of the corporation sealed 26 units in the city’s West Zone for public littering. Notices were issued to 366 units for public littering, and in the North West Zone, 133 units received notices, while 6 units were sealed.
