India-Pak tensions: Why and how India carried out Operation Sindoor?

India carried out strikes across a Line of Control to avenge the death of 26 innocent civilians in Pahalgam on the 22nd of April, and within 15 days of that dastardly attack on tourists in Kashmir, India chose to strike nine specific terror targets across the Line of Control. These were terror camps. Why did India strike those nine locations?
