Montana US Presidential Election 2024: Voting, Result info, Candidates and all you need to know

Date:

The United States is set to hold its presidential elections on November 5 and Republican nominee Donald Trump will battle it out with Democratic nominee Kamala Harris for the power seat.

The voting will be held across the 50 states in the country to choose the party and its candidate who will represent the United States for the next four years.

All about the state of Montana

Montana is located in the Mountain West subregion of the Western United States and shares borders with Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and the Canadian provinces of Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.

The total population of Montana is approximately 1.1 million and around 77.5 per cent of the population is currently registered voters, which makes it more than 7,41,000.

In 1992, Bill Clinton was the last elected Democratic presidential nominee in Montana. After that, Montana has always remained in favour of Republican candidates and even made the bid of former US president Barack Obama in 2008 unsuccessful.

Currently, the wave in Montana is in favour of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and not Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
