Gujarat University has taken a new decision to prevent unauthorized vehicles from entering its campus.
Ahmedabad: After the death of 10 people in the ISKCON bridge accident, vigilance has increased everywhere regarding all matters related to vehicles. Talking about Gujarat University, Gujarat University has taken a new decision to prevent unauthorized vehicles from entering its campus. The University will issue a sticker to all its staff, teaching staff, students etc. to put on their vehicles. Vehicles with this sticker will be admitted to Gujarat University. Vehicles without stickers will be stopped at the gate of the University. Nirja Gupta, Chancellor of Gujarat University informed the reporters about this.
Gujarat University has asked for the number of students from its different departments. After getting the total marks, stickers will be given to all the people including employees, faculty, staff persons, students working in the university. Everyone has to put this sticker on their vehicle. Only vehicles with stickers will be allowed inside. A person who comes for any other work will be admitted by making an entry as a visitor. Apart from this, no other persons will be allowed to enter.
Importantly, Gujarat University is the largest government university in the state. There are 55 different buildings in it. More than 20 thousand students are studying in the university.
