Gandhinagar: The state govt said on Thursday that India’s longest-running motorcycling event, BOBMC Rider Mania 2025, was held this year at the Rann Utsav in Kutch. The 22nd edition of BOBMC Rider Mania was organised from Jan 31 to Feb 2, in Dhordo, which was recognised as the ‘Best Tourism Village’ by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). The event was held in Gujarat for the first time.
An official statement said the event saw participation from over 2,000 bike riders from various states across the country, including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, besides the northeastern states like Mizoram, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh. Additionally, riders from Nepal and Bhutan also participated in the motorcycling event.
Quoting Rajender Kumar, tourism secretary, the statement said, “Gujarat has world-class robust infrastructure and roads and diverse landscapes, making it an ideal biking destination.”
