Gandhinagar : The news of five people dying in Bilodara village near Nadiad in Kheda district after allegedly consuming suspicious syrup has sparked debate across the state. Then Gandhinagar Local Crime Branch busted the drug business in the name of Ayurvedic syrup under the guise of pan parlor in Por village under Adalaj police station and arrested two shopkeepers along with 90 bottles of intoxicant and conducted further investigation. Apart from this, the Adalaj police raided Zoondal and sold the intoxicating syrup under the guise of a paan parlor to ccused, who was arrested with a total of 59 bottles.
