AHMEDABAD: A six-year-old girl was found murdered under suspicious circumstances on Monday evening near her home in a labour colony on the Changodar-Bavla-Sarkhej highway in Sanand taluka.
The girl’s body was found in a bloodied condition, with the left ear severed, and visible injuries on her face, mouth, neck, back and waist, suggesting physical assault.
The girl’s mother, a labourer, filed a police complaint after finding the body hidden opposite her makeshift home. On Monday morning, the woman and her mother left for work at a nearby factory at around 8am. Like other days, they left the girl behind.
