Soil and rice collected under ‘Mari Mati Maro Desh’ campaign will be used to build Amritavan.
Surat : The country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to collect a bit of soil and a kalash full of rice grains and send it to Delhi. The campaign has been named “MeriMitti Mera Desh”. This campaign has been started from 182 assembly constituencies of Gujarat. Under which it has been auspiciously started from Surat on tuesday. BJP state president CR Patil gave the green flag to the Kalash Yatra. In 30 wards of the city, under the slogan “Meri Mitti Mera Desh”, BJP workers have started collecting a pinch of soil and three to four grains of rice from each house by placing kalash in 30 tempo, where soil and rice collected from 182 assembly assemblies of Gujarat will be sent to Delhi in electric vehicles. 30 decorated tempo were flagged off by the Chairman and the Home Minister from the Ring Road.
Moreover, the tempo with around 30 decorated kalash in 30 wards of the city were flagged off by BJP President CR Patil and Minister of State for Home Affairs Harsh Sanghavi from Surat’s Ring Road. On this occasion BJP President C. R. Patil said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon people to participate in the ‘Mari Matti Maro Desh’ program across the country. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call, bit soil and rice grains are being collected from every household across the country. Soil and rice collected under ‘Mari Mati Maro Desh’ campaign will be used to build Amritavan. According to each Assembly, one Kumbh will be made and collected at Ahmedabad. Arrangements have been made to send it to Delhi through an electrical vehicle.
