GPCB took water samples after complaint along with videography
The Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCBA) has issued closure notices to four units including Sachin GIDC’s Robin Dies, Keem companies, which were caught late night discharging polluted water into Barobar drains. GPCB has initiated strict action against polluting industrial units in the city and district.
Pollution is spreading in the ground and creek due to the continuous release of polluted water by these industrial units without any treatment. GPCB has raised the complain of closure against such industrial units causing pollution in Sachin GIDC. The water was released late at night through pipe lines by Robin Dyes and Intermediates Company located in Sachin GIDC.
Although, water samples were taken on complaint to GPCB along with videography regarding this. A report in this regard was prepared and sent to the Gandhinagar office. In view of which, GPCB has issued a closure notice to Robin Dies for violating the Gujarat Pollution Control Acts.
Apart from this, closure notices have been issued to Keem’s Dharam Yarn and Shree Shyam Trading as well as Makani Filament’s water jet unit for releasing polluted water.
