Palanpur: Three members of a family were killed in a road accident when a speeding truck collided head-on with an autorickshaw on the Radhanpur–Mehsana highway, near Radhanpur on Sunday.The impact of the crash was so severe that the rickshaw was mangled beyond recognition. All three passengers in the rickshaw — Nirasi Thakor, Ashish Thakor, and Galalben Thakor — died on the spot. The deceased belonged to the same family.According to eyewitnesses, the truck was over-speeding when the driver suddenly lost control and rammed into the rickshaw coming from the opposite direction.The bodies have been sent to the govt referral hospital in Radhanpur for postmortem. Local police have registered a case and launched further investigation into the accident.
