Waqf Amendment Act Row Rages On

The recently enacted Waqf Amendment Act 2025 pushes a secularisation of properties owned Muslim religious institutions and charities in India. Clauses allowing for a government say in administration of such properties has raised strong opposition from Muslims that alleges, with non-BJP state governments alleging targeting of minorities.
