Ahmedabad: Residents of various zones in the city will experience an interruption in water supply for the next two days starting Tuesday due to maintenance work on the main trunk line at the Kotarpur water treatment plant.
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) scheduled repairs to address a leak in the main line. This will affect the water supply for two days across the west, central, and north zones. According to AMC, the 1,600 mm diameter main trunk line distributes drinking water from the Kotarpur water treatment plant to pumping stations in these zones.
Water will be supplied on the evening of Feb 4 and the morning of Feb 5. Regular water supply will resume after the completion of the repair work.
