Surat : A 24-year-old woman home guard working at Limbayat police station in Surat was going to Salangpur with a friend on Friday night when she was passing in front of the gate of Satyam Shivam Heights, Godadara, then the bike rider ran away with an iPhone 15 worth Rs. 74 thousand, which she had bought two weeks ago.
According to the details received from the police sources, 24-year-old Jinal Rawlia, residing at Godadara area, Surat, works as a home guard at Limbayat Police Station. Jinal bought an iPhone 15 worth Rs. 74 thousand on September 23 last. Jinal left home at 10 o’clock on Friday of the last six to go to visit the Botad Salangpur temple with her friend Nitin. Jinal was walking from BRTS when she took out her iPhone from her pant pocket to call Nitin, then stranger on a bike with a handkerchief tied over his face took her iPhone and ran away. People came running shouting Jinal ‘thief thief’ , but the biker took a right turn from Sanskruti Market and fled towards Godadara Capital Square. On the basis of the e-FIR filed by Jinal, the Godadara police registered a case against the unknown bike rider and conducted further investigation.
