Gandhinagar: Governor Acharya Devvrat, chief minister Bhupendra Patel and assembly speaker Shankar Chaudhary on Sunday laid the foundation stone of ‘Anjana Dham‘, a Rs 300-crore project that will train youth for civil service examinations and act as a centre for community development.
Anjana Dham will be established at Jamiyatpura village near Kalol on the Ahmedabad-Mehsana Highway.
Speaking on the occasion, the governor said Anjana Dham should not only be the educational hub for youth aspiring to join the civil services, but its mission should also be to nurture culture and groom youth who bring honour to society, their families and the nation.
The governor pledged a donation of Rs 5 lakh for the project, an official statement said. CM Patel said that the Anjana Chaudhary community is building the Anjana Dham, which will play a vital role in creating a prosperous society. tnn
