A mobile phone worth five thousand has been seized from the accused.
Surat : The No Drugs in Surat campaign was launched by the Commissioner of Police. However, the Surat Crime Branch has succeeded in nabbing the wanted accused involved in the crime of NDPS from Kosamba Police Station as the operation is currently underway in the city without a Commissioner. Based on the information, the accused has been arrested and further action has been taken. mAccused Mawiya Abdulkader Qureshi (26) was reported to be in Kosad area. Based on this, the police raided the SMC residence at Amroli Kosad. From which the accused Mawiya Abdulkader Qureshi was taken away, in which the interrogation of the accused revealed that he was selling banned MD drugs on commission. Mawiya Abdulkader Qureshi was well-known to Shahjad Khan alias Saizu Azazkhan Pathan and Sahilkhan Azazkhan Pathan who were arrested in Kosamba Police Station for the past five years. Five or six days ago, Jamil alias Jamal confessed to selling MD drugs powder to accused Shahjad Khan alias Saizu Pathan with a commission of two thousand rupees. A mobile phone worth five thousand has been seized from the accused.
